My background is in ancient history research and teaching. Since moving to Finistere a long time ago, I have concentrated on writing, with many published books and articles covering aspects of Brittany. History, legends, landscape and walking are all preoccupations, with a dominant theme of spirit of place. Recent work has featured poetry and creative texts for exhibitions, as well as a series of novels set in Brittany. My work has appeared in the UK national press and magazines, featured on French TV and been the subject of radio broadcasts here in Brittany.
